For those with tthe same MySQL question as above I finally worked it out (hits head).

user = easyhotspot
password = easyhotspot.

i.e run the following command:
mysql –user=easyhotspot –password=easyhotspot

Hi there,

a Couple of questions

1) MySQL password, i have tried toor/easyhotspot and installation password user/pass and both do not work.

2) Suggestion of letting people create their own interface, or change the css. it seems the user mangement is a mix of open source products and not that straight forward (maybe I’m wrong) Freak_Auth etc…

Congrats on a great product! I have yet to see anything as easy to set up as this… Keep up the good work. I would love to see more customisability though (the easy way :p).

mas rafee, gimana cara memperbaharui sertifikatnya. biar tiap pertama kani connect. tidak muncul lagi peringatan invalid sertificate

Mas rafeequl aku dah coba install EasyHotspot anda tapi nga tau kenapa nga bisa…??? saat ku booting dari cd trus aku biarkan saja sampai EasyHotspot-nya Loading…. Hanya nga tau kenapa klo sampai VMLinux itu kompinya reboot trus aku sudah coba berulang kali tapi tetap saja nga mau…!!! Aku pake PC Built-UP pentium III Ram 256 MB mereknya compaq…

hmm bisa aja sih, tapi harus banyak melakukan modifikasi kalo udah mau integrasi gitu mas. tidak ada cara yang sama persis untuk kasus custom seperti itu.
tapi secara umum, table radius dan table database local harus connect. atau kalau punya LDAP bisa di integrasikan.

1. my bad, but its fixed in 0.2 version .. im uploading it but no luck .. but dont worry ill try again. please do research about Simultaneous-Use its freeradius attribute that allow you to define how many users can connect at the same time with the same ticket.

2. please edit hotspotlogin.cgi

i am a fan of ur work and i will like to say a big thank u for a wonderfull job

i have done a demo on easyhotspot and it is working ok
but i need to sort some things out

1 it is the issue of 2 users login in with the same username and password

2 i need to edit the color of my login screen
