Uploading EasyHotspot 0.2

ive finished building easyhotspot 0.2 now its time to upload …
it will takes a loooong time since my internet connection is not fast enough T_T .. believe it or not, it takes 24+ hour .. cross your finger and pray !!!

  2. haduh jadi gak sabar ni pa!
    btw sy berhasil install easyhotspot 0.2 di ubuntu 9.04 desktop. client bisa login dengan user+pass postpaid (baru nyoba yg ini) pi sering DC! paling lama bertahan 5 menit. dah diotak atik waktu idlenya pi ga ngaruh, knpa ya?

  4. Great!! I hope your upload goes fine, but please write something about it, like which distro is it in, features, etc. would you have uploaded the web interface and instructions to setup first? only to people who knows what is doing, of course

  6. rafeequl – I just sent you a 25 page install manual (English) that covers everything for Ubuntu 9.04 +FreeRadius 2+ChilliSpot 1.0. I cover all the quirks on the databases (I’ve provide some schema files which are tidier), radius, chilli (including traffic limits). I’ve been working with the version 0.2 preview. I’ve also sent a pile of patches for the bits I’ve been working on. I can re-merge my Diff with the new 0.2 release and re-issue though I am installing a PC on a site this Friday with v0.2 (my patched version) which I can’t delay.

  8. That document is now updated again though it’s 99% right. rafeequl has pointed me at the git repository and so I’m locally merging my local edits with the git and will give rafeequl a git-diff. I have added hooks for different access_controllers e.g. coovachilli support of ChilliSpot-Max-Total-GigaWords (experimental because I have not tested this !).

  9. I have merged my code locally (not Sourceforge) and have sent rafeequl a git diff. He can now review what I have done and make sure it doesn’t clash with his uncommitted changes. Either way I’m installing a server on a client site today with what I am running.

      i’m trying your guide but i can’t get your sql schema file (ehs_withrad_0.2p3.sql etc). then i try to use original easyhotspot table, off course produced some error on easyhotspot interface. where i can get that file? (or your Full Patched Version)

  11. Got delayed on things – will be sending rafeequl the schema files that match the names in the document and the sample config files today (Tuesday 1/Sep GMT)
